Itinerary

1. Day 1: Sighseeing in Sanliurfa

   • Meet your tour guide at our meeting point (airport-bus terminal) in Sanliurfa.

   • Visit Göbeklitepe, which is the oldest ritual archaeological site in the world.

   • Set out for the natural and historical wonder of Halfetti which is identified with the sacred Euphrates River and the black rose.

   • Enjoy the boat tour on the Firat for an hour, and visit the Rumkale which is surrounded by water on 3 sides. 

   • The village with sunken minarets, which is the subject of films and advertisements.

   • Visit the black rose farm that grows only in Halfet in the world and buy black rose cologne.

   • See the Balıklı Lake, and 3 monophysite which is the sacred place where the prophet Hz Ibrahim was born and was thrown into the fire. 

   • Go the local row night where you will see and listen to the songs and dances of the people of Mesopotamia.

   • Retire to the hotel for the night.

2. Day 2: Explore Harran

   • Start your second day of tour with the city of Harran.

   • Visit the beekeepers, the land of the moon god Sin, the land of the last Babylonian king Nabukednezar, the homeland of the Saabis.

   • Explore the largest archaeological museum in Turkey. 

   • Go to the Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum. The mosaics are the most valuable mosaic in the world due to their mosaic technique, art and 4 mm 2 size made from the original stones of the Euphrates River. The museum includes masterpieces of the Amazon warrior queens (Hippolyte, Melanipe, Antiope, Panthesilaia), Akhileus, Ktisis, (goddess of the foundation of buildings and cities, and personification of generosity and donations), Orpheus, Jesus, and more. 

   • End the tour in the colourful and historic markets and bazaars.

   • Make your way the Sanliurfa airport for departure.
