One-day tour of Aswan's highlights
In the morning, your Aswan tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in the city after which you will proceed to do the following:
- First, take a stroll along the River Nile. Experience the slow and relaxing pace of life in Aswan where the Nile is at its most beautiful, flowing through amber desert and granite rocks; round emerald islands covered in palm groves and tropical plants.
- Then, visit the Isis Temple, which is the most ancient temple in Upper Egypt, built during the time of Nectanebo.
- Proceed to the High Dam which is the largest embankment in the world. See this magnificent structure over the Nile River.
- Lastly, see the Unfinished Obelisk which has lain as part of the rock from which it was planned to be cut centuries ago.
Return to be dropped off at your accommodation.
