Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, meet your guide in Arusha at 07:15 am and start driving to Serengeti National Park which takes 7 hours (includes all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 

   • Stop at Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the crater for 20 minutes. 

   • Visit Maasai village (optional to visit) and explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe known for chasing lions of their kill and hunting lions to be considered a warrior, drinking raw animal blood though these traditions are thing of the past with exception of drinking blood you can surely learn something.  

   • Arrive in Serengeti National Park by the late afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (centre of Serengeti) till late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. Maybe you are lucky enough to see a predator hunting or on a kill.

   Overnight at Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge/Katikati Tented Lodge/Domell Wilderness/Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

   Meals included: Lunch and dinner

2. Day 2: Serengeti National Park

   • After an early breakfast, go to the wider parts of the Serengeti - south/east/west, depending on wildlife movements, 

   • Later, have lunch and continue the game drive till evening.

   • Return to the Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge or Katikati Tented Lodge for dinner & overnight stay. 

   Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

3. Day 3: Seronera, Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

   • After an early breakfast at 06:30 am, go on an early game drive seeing a lot of animals till the afternoon.

   • Head to camp for lunch and packing. Do a game drive while you exit the Serengeti, heading to Rhino Lodge/Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.  

   Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

   • After an early breakfast, descend the crater at 06:15 am on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater.

   • Do a game drive after lunch and then, ascend the crater heading to the lodge to pack.

   • Head back to Arusha and transfer to the airport for departure.
