Nemrut Mountain and Kommegene Kingdoms Tour
- Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location in Adiyaman and begin the tour.
Visit Karakuş Tumulus Eagle - topped column from the royal burial mound at Karakuş.
Proceed to the Cendere Bridge with Romans emperor columns.
Explore the Arsemia Ruins which were the summer residences of the Commagene kingdom.
Move towards the Mount Nemrut. Most of the archaeological remains, which survived, including the tumulus at the peak of Nemrut Dag, are from the time of Antiochus I. At the cone shape summit of this 2,200m elevated mountain, one can find statues of mythical figures of Apollon, Zeus, Hercules, and others.
Head back to Adiyaman.
