1. Paraty Walking Tour

   • Get ready for a walk that will last about two hours. You will be making about 07 important stops and it will be introducing the history of the town, the context of the building, the history of the churches, ateliers and curiosities about the local life.

   • Begin the tour with the awakening of the vision through colours, ranging from the preserved colonial architecture to the horizon, where the eyes find the nuances and charming shapes of the mountains that embrace and envelop this charming city. A region marked by its natural beauty and beauty built by human hands, bodies and minds from different regions of the world. And each one of these influences left marks and inheritances on the physical and cultural traits in what we now call the Brazilian people, at the height of all the plurality that is to be and be part of a country with borders that extend throughout all the South America. In the search for this understanding, religiosity is a factor that has a great weight in this country, at that moment the drums will wake up and sharpen the hearing, sending us beyond Catholicism, which is still so strong and present since the beginning of colonization until the present day. The religion of Candomblé also arrives and will ask for passage, as well as Umbanda and the different religions and rituals of indigenous and African origins. The whole history of Paraty is closely linked to the cane cycle and in this land high-quality cachaças (alcoholic drinks produced from sugar cane) are produced.

   • Experience this magnificent richness of smells and flavours as local cachaças will be offered for tasting and appreciation, as well as sweets and liqueurs. You will be able to smell Brazilian coffees from different states as well.
