Description
Embark on a wildlife hunt from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park. Go for game drives to spot over 400 bird species and a variety of animals such as lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra and elephants. Head to the Mkata River, which flows through the park, and see hippos and crocodiles.
Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
- At 7 AM, depart from Dar es Salaam and head to Mikumi National Park, with packed lunch.
- Upon arrival, check in to the hotel/campsite/lodge and go on game drives to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, velvet monkeys, kudus and many more species.
- Head to Mkata River, which flows through the park, where you can find hippos, crocodiles and other water birds.
Overnight stay at Lodge/Tented Camp/Campsite on a full board basis.

Day 2: Departure
- Post early morning breakfast, go on a half-day game drive in the landscapes and the Mkata plain savannah, similar to the Serengeti Park. Spot, lions, buffaloes, hippos, kudus, zebras, leopards and over 400 bird species.
- Return to the stay, have lunch and depart to Dar es Salaam.
