Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport/Arusha

   • Get picked up by our driver on your arrival at the airport, and drives you to Arusha town at the booked hotel for dinner and overnight.

   Destination: Arusha

   Accommodation: Mvuli Hotel, 2-star hotel

   Meals: BB

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

   • Wake up early in the morning, and drive to Tarangire National Park by Land Cruiser, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth-largest and one of its most diverse.

   • Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the park's registration book.

   • Engage in a full-day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000-foot high wall that rises, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephants, buffalos, and pythons are regularly seen crossing your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks, explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, and find the elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.

   • Arrive at your amazing lodge, where you can settle in late this afternoon and relax before dinner and your overnight.

   Destination: Tarangire National Park

   Accommodation: Osupuko Lodge, 3-4 star lodge

3. Day 3: Tarangire National Park

   • Embark on full-day game drives in Tarangire National Park. In this day, you will go out very early for sunrise game drives which start at 6 am to 8 am whereby you will break in the bush and enjoy your breakfast.

   • See how our driver arranges a breakfast basket and after breakfast, you will enjoy the walking tour “imagine walking in the African jungle” enjoy seeing elephants and other animals very close. Remember the walking will be assisted with an armed ranger all the time.

   • Have more game drives to afternoon whereby you will break for lunch and later on, you will proceed with game drives to sunset.

   • Unwind with dinner and overnight at the same camp.

   Destination: Tarangire National Park

   Accommodation: Olea Africana Lodge, 3-4 star lodge

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Rise early for breakfast before you drive to Ngorongoro for a full day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see the Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino.

   • Maximize your time on the crater floor, and you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape, constantly changing as animals move to and fro, searching for pasture, water or east prey.

   • Ascend to the rim in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

   Destination: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, a 3-star lodge

   Meals: B, L, D

5. Day 5: Serengeti National Park

   • Eat an early breakfast in the morning and you will make your way to Serengeti National Park for your mid-morning to sunset game drives. On the way to the Serengeti, you will be having game drives en-route.

   • Enjoy fabulous game drives in the endless plain of Serengeti National Park before driving to your amazing camp for dinner and overnight.

   Destination: Serengeti National Park

   Accommodation: Serengeti Pamoja tented camp, 3 star camp

   Meals: B, L, D

6. Day 6: Central Serengeti to North Serengeti

   • Wake up early breakfast at 5:30 am, and you will drive out with a sunrise game drive on your way to the northern Serengeti Mara river area for a full-day wildebeests migration tour. On this day, you will be searching for the wildebeest migration in the northern Serengeti National Park area, trying to witness the cross and seeing the big heard of wildebeest migrations. This will start from sunrise to sunset game drive in the endless plain of Serengeti National Park. Sunrise game drives start at 6:00 am. We expect them to be around the northern Serengeti Mara River area.

   Drive to the camp for dinner and overnight in the evening. 

   Destination: Serengeti National Park

   Accommodation:  Tanzania bush migration Tented Camp, 3-4 star tented camp

   Meals: B, L, D

7. Day 7: Mara River

   • Be done with your breakfast this morning, and you will drive out for full-day wildebeest migration game drives in the Northern Serengeti area. This starts from sunrise to sunset.

   Return to the camp for dinner and overnight in the evening. 

   Destination: Serengeti National Park

   Accommodation:  Tanzania Tented Camp, 3-4 star tented camp

   Meals: B, L, D

8. Day 8: Fly from North Serengeti Mara River Area (Kogatende air strip)/Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)

   • Have an amazing breakfast in the morning, and you will drive out for sunrise game drives to early afternoon, whereby our driver will drop you at Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back home.

   Destination: Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)

   Accommodation:  No accommodations included (fly-out)

   Meals: B
