Basseterre Island Tour
- Pick up from port or hotel in the morning.
- Visit a number of historical highlights in the city of Basseterre:
- The National Museum exhibiting local history & cultural heritage.
- Berkeley Memorial erected in the centre of the Circus in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.
- Independence Square, where the slaves were sold.
- War Memorial and various churches in the city.
- The Bloody Point situated to the west of Challengers village, legend has it that, so much blood was spilt there that it ran for three days straight – hence the name Bloody Point.
- Go to the Old Road, carving of the rocks, plantation, through the rainforest, to the botanical garden, Romney Manor, Caribelle Batik, where you have half an hour to walk about.
- Brimstone Hill Fortress, Black Rocks, and the South-East Peninsula, where the Caribbean and Atlantic meet.
- Back to your ships -ports or hotel.
