Explore the old city of Goa
- Start the tour from Panaji City, the capital of Goa, where you will meet your representative/guide.
Wander through the Portuguese Latin Quarters of Fontainhas (or Bairro das Fontainhas, in Portuguese). Many traditional houses built in the 18th & 19th centuries are found here, and their red-tiled roofs attract tourists to this area year after year.
Proceed to Old Goa or Velha Goa Churches (Velha means "old" in Portuguese). The remains of this place are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Tour the Se Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of Goa, the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, the Church of S. Caetano, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which contains the relics of Saint Francis Xavier.
Head to a tropical spice plantation located in Keri (Ponda), a village untouched by pollution.
Witness a traditional welcome by offering Aarti, Kumkum, and a garland of flowers upon arrival.
