This village is one of Brazil´s best places for vacation with many resorts, hotels, pousadas (bed & breakfast inns), summer houses and a busy pedestrian street, with many shops and restaurants. The city is within an environmental protection area. Home to the Tamar Project, a sea turtle preservation program well worth the visit.
Before you arrive in Praia do Forte, you will stop at Guarajuba Beach, one of the best white sand beaches of the North Coast and take time to swim and relax.
Then, drive to Praia do Forte, visit the Tamar Project, and have free time for lunch and a walkabout before returning to Salvador.
