Description
Travel from Edinburgh to St Andrews , The Home of Golf, and where in 1413 the third oldest University in the English speaking world was founded.
Tour the ancient streets and visit the college where a future King was educated and another college where Calculus was first taught.
Walk alongside the Old Course and if patient take photographs on The Swilcan Bridge before crossing the 18th Fairway for lunch at the Tom Morris Resturant between the Old and New Courses.
Finish the day in St Andrews with time for retail therapy before returning to Edinburgh.
As an option for golfers we can offer at an extra cost a one hour lesson from a local pro followed by a walk down the 16, 17, and 18th fairways of the Old Course.This can take place while non golfers in the party tour the town and University
