Drive to the west through the outskirts of Chania and arrive at Kissamos. Ships make rides to the island of Gramvoussa and the Balos lagoon from this point.
Enjoy a ferry ride from the port of Kasteli Kissamos to the small island Gramvoussa with its imposing Venetian castle and breathtaking views. In the fortress area, there are two large, domed reservoirs, which collect the rainwater from the paved streets. Opposite the island of Gramvoussa falls the wonderful beach of Balos.
