Itinerary

1. Day 1: Delhi- Agra via Yamuna Express Way

   • Meet with the tour guide in Delhi and travel to Agra.

   • Arrive at Agra and have lunch at a local restaurant. 

   • Visit the Agra Fort, built by Mughal emperor Akbar, which used to be the main residence of Mughal emperors. It is known for its unique Mughal architecture and has many striking structures, including Diwan-i-Am, Jahangir Palace, Diwan-i-Khas, and more. 

   • Visit the local markets of Agra and go shopping.

   • Head to the tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah, also known as "Baby Taj", which is said to be the inspiration behind the Taj mahal. 

   • Proceed to Mehtab Bagh, a charming garden built around the Taj Mahal.

   • Travel to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.  

2. Day 2: Agra to Delhi Via NH-2 Through Churmura Point

   • Wake up early in the morning and visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise.

   • Move to Wildlife SoS Bear Sanctuary and learn about the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife in distress in the country.

   • Travel to Wildlife SOS- Elephant Conservation and Care Center near Mathura.

   • Spend the day working “Hands-on” with the elephants, learning about their fundamental needs and natural habits. You would have the amazing knowledge about the animals and the background knowledge on what is currently happening to elephants in captivity in India. Here, you would be able to meet some of the elephants and hear about their backstories. Depending on your time slot, you may get to feed or walk with some of the elephants.

   • Have a local lunch.

   • Travel back to Delhi after the tour.
