Itinerary

Oświecim+ Wieliczka
- Visit Auschwitz I, where you will join an English language tour – provided by the Museum's guide – for about 2.5 hours.
- After that, we will transfer you to Auschwitz II – Birkenau, about 2 km away. You will spend there about 1 hour with the same guide.
- Explore the Wieliczka Salt Mine. To reach the first level of the mine (64 metres underground), you have to descent a wooden stairway that has 378 stairs. After the tour, you will be taken up to the surface with a lift.

Know Before You Go

Oświęcim is located some 31 miles (50 km) west of Krakow. It's where the former Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau is located and has become known as a place of martyrdom, suffering, and death.

The tour offers private transfer (only for you) to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Salt Mine in Wieliczka, but the tour in the museum is shared with other people in a group of up to 30 (Auschwitz- Birkenau) and up to 40 (Salt Mine in Wieliczka)

The maximum size of bags and backpacks allowed to bring into the Auschwitz museum is 30x20x10 cm. For safety reasons, each person entering the grounds of the Museum will be subject to security checks, including using electronic devices to detect dangerous materials and objects. Those who refuse checks will not be allowed on the grounds of the Museum.

The pick-up time depends on the day.
