Agra City Tour
Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location in Delhi and begin the tour to Agra by car through Yamuna Expressway.
Arrive in Agra and you would be taken for breakfast. You will get to enjoy the delicious local foods of the city including sweets like Jalebi.
Visit the elegant Taj Mahal. It is one of the most popular tourist places in the world. It was built by Mughal ruler, Shah Jahan. He built this magnificent monument to honour the loving memory of his deceased wife, Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday)
Proceed to visit Agra Fort. It is one of the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Agra along with the Taj Mahal. It used to be the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638. It has many halls, gardens, and lots of rooms, each one built with elegance.
Take a lunch break. The lunch would be at one of Agra's most renowned restaurants, where you would be eating some very popular, delicious and healthy cuisines of Agra.
Enjoy the many handicrafts demonstrations that exist in the city. There are marble inlay crafts, embroidered crafts and rugs demonstration among them.
Proceed to the tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah or Baby Taj. It is a tomb of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, father of Nur Jahan. It is also known for its architectural beauty.
Move back to Delhi and the representative would drop you at your hotel or your desired location in Delhi.
