Itinerary

1. Day 1: Lagos Murtala Mohammed International Airport

   • Meet and greet your  tour guide and head to your hotel for a tour orientation and later relax at your hotel room. 

2. Day 2: Lagos Tour

   • Explore Lagos mainland and the island visiting important markets, historical places and some off the beaten track paths. 
     • Lekki conservation center
     • The Craft Market
     • The new African Shrine
     • The Kalakuta republic

     • Buka

   Overnight at Omu Resort or Inagbe beach resort.

3. Day 3: Lagos badagry-seme-Cotonou

   • Leave very early driving towards the Badagry historical town visiting the Abass Seriki slave museum, the first story building in Nigeria, the Mobee Slave museum of history, the slave route. 

   • Leave here towards the Nigeria/Benin Republic border which is called Seme border. 

   • After immigration, drive towards Cotonou or Ouidah and check into your hotels.

4. Day 4: Cotonou-Ganvie

   • Explore the commercial capital of Benin which is Cotonou by visiting Babsdock and also Ganvie, the stilt village which is home for about 39000 inhabitants. 

   • Indulge in bird watching, row on the lover's lane and see the market on small boats.

5. Day 5: Ouidah-Abomey

   • Visit the Abomey museum of culture and history and then return to Ouidah to visit the Python Temple, Musee de Historique du Ouidah and the Slave route. 

   Overnight at Cassa del papa or Mariella hotel or hotel of your choice.

6. Day 6: Ouidah-Togo-Togoville-Akodesewa

   • Leave Ouidah very early in the morning onward to the Benin/Togo border.

   • After immigration, cross the border and drive to Agbodrafo and visit the wood home. 

   • After this, take about to cross lake Togoville to explore the town. 

   • Leave Togoville and visit the fish market. 

   • Return to your hotel for overnight. 

7. Day 7: Togo - Accra

   • Visit the artisan market and the cathedral.  

   • Head onward to the Togo/Ghana border.

   • After immigration's, head for a 3 hours drive to Accra the capital of Ghana. 

   • Stay overnight at a good hotel.

8. Day 8: Capecoast

   • Leave Accra very early in the morning to visit the city of cape-coast and Elmina. 

   • At cape-coast, visit the Elmina Castle, the cape-coast castle and maybe the Kakum Park. 

   • Return back to Accra.

   Overnight at a good hotel.

9. Day 9: Accra City Tour

   • Make the most of your last day as you visit the following places:

     • Art and culture center

     • Kwame Nkrumah museum

     • The Mokola market

     • W Dubois center 

   • Head back to your hotel to rest for a while before proceeding for your onwards journey.
