DAY-1 Cameron Highlands
7am Depart for the Cameron Highlands - a hill resort with large tea plantations and farm;lands and aborigines.
Bonus stop at iconic Batu Caves Tour and climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam honored during Hindu Festivals. The 140 feet statue of the Deity is mesmerizing. Ladies to have their knees and shoulders covered.
Visit the Cascading Waterfalls. The waterfalls cascade into a narrow stream where locals go for a cool dip. The shops nearby are full of souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, strange herbs, tropical fruits and aphrodisiacs to pick from.
Proceed to meet the Aborigines. These jungle dwellers treat the Rainforest as their Supermarket where they get all their life's necessities. A blowpipe demonstration awaits you.
Enter the Butterfly Farm & Insectarium which is a secret paradise where 5,000 odd butterflies dance on ferns and scented flowers. The landscaped gardens, exotic plants, freshwater turtles and the many insects are a thriller.
Stroll to see the various vegetables and fruits grown in the Camerons.
Visit the Cactus & Flower Gardens. A wide range of cactus in various shapes and sizes and beautiful flowers that thrive in the Camerons due to its conducive weather.
