Itinerary

1. DAY-1 Cameron Highlands

   • 0700 hrs: After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Camerons with stops en-route.

   • Start with Batu Caves Tour which is a limestone outcrop. The 272 steps climb takes us to the temple of the Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam aka Lord  Murugan. He is honoured during the Hindu Festival of Thaipusam every January or February every year. The 140 feet statue of the Deity is mesmerizing. (Note: Decent attire is mandatory for ladies to enter the temple).

   • Visit the Cascading Waterfalls. The waterfalls cascade into a narrow stream where locals go for a cool dip. The shops nearby are full of souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, strange herbs, tropical fruits and aphrodisiacs to pick from. 

   • Proceed to meet the Aborigines. These jungle dwellers treat the Rainforest as their Supermarket where they get all their life's necessities. A blowpipe demonstration awaits you. At 1200 hrs: Eat lunch.

   • Enter the Butterfly Farm & Insectarium which is a secret paradise where 5,000 odd butterflies dance on ferns and scented flowers. The landscaped gardens, exotic plants, freshwater turtles and the many insects are a thriller.

   • Explore Strawberry Farm and get a hand-pick experience to pluck fresh strawberries right from the plant.

   • Stroll to see the various vegetables and fruits grown in the Camerons.

   • Visit the Cactus & Flower Gardens. A wide range of cactus in various shapes and sizes and beautiful flowers that thrive in the Camerons due to its conducive weather.

   • 1700 hrs: Check into the hotel. Free at leisure. At 1900 hrs: Enjoy dinner - Hot Pot - the Signature Dish in the Camerons. Bring along sweaters as the nights are cold and return to the hotel at 2100 hrs.

2. DAY-2 Mossy Forest Tour

   • 0900 hrs: After breakfast at the hotel, head out to Mossy Forest Tour. Hop on to a 4-wheeler cruising along the picturesque rolling Tea Plantation going uphill to the Brinchang Mountains at 6,500 feet above sea level.

   • Go on a short jungle walk where the Nature Guide will reveal some exotic facts about the flora in the Camerons like the Pitcher Plant, the Wild Orchids, strange Ferns, Spices and medicinal plants. (Some variations to Tour timing may occur). 

   • 1300 hrs: Check out and depart for Kuala Lumpur. At 1800 hrs: Arrive approx. End of Tour.
