Day 1: Explore Turda, Alba Iulia, Hunedoara & Sibiu
Meet your tour guide at Cluj at 8:30 AM and depart to Turda.
Descent underground into the ancient salt mines of Turda.
Make your way to Alba Iulia and admire the Alba Carolina Vauban fortress. Listen to interesting stories about the ancient Romans, the Hungarian kings, and Transylvania's union with Romania.
After lunch, head to Hunedoara and discover the Corvin Castle. It belonged to the Hunyad family, one of the most famous members of this family being King Mathia Hunyadi. You’ll have the chance to hear lots of legends and stories about the royal family, its origin, medieval fighting techniques and so on from the tour guide.
Arrive in Sibiu, the best defended medieval fortified town in Transylvania.
Rest overnight in your accommodation.

Day 2: Discover Sibiu, Bran & Brasov
Begin your day with an early breakfast at your accommodation.
Make your way to Sibiu and visit the four fortifications of the medieval city: the Liar’s Bridge, The Small and the Big Squares.
Depart to Bran and admire views of the Carpathian Mountains on the way.
Visit Bran Castle, also known as the Dracula’s Castle. Built on a cliff during the Middle Ages and modernized at the beginning of the 20th century, Bran Castle is now one of the most visited places in Romania. You will get the chance to find out why it is associated with the famous character Dracula.
Drive towards the city of Brasov. Originally a Saxon town, Brasov was called Kronstadt in German and ruled by Stalin for a short period during the communist period.
In Brasov, visit the Black Church and see the largest collection of Ottoman carpets in Europe.
Overnight stay in Brasov.

Day 3: Viscri & Sighisoara
Have your breakfast at your hotel and depart for Viscri.
Stroll through the pretty streets of Viscri, one of the best-preserved traditional Saxon villages in Transylvania and one of the few where the community is still very much alive, where small rural businesses continue to survive.
Pay a visit to a local blacksmith and view their craft.
Visit the 13th c. fortified church of Viscri.
Make your way to the medieval fortress of Sighisoara, one of the few of its kind still inhabited in Europe. Surrounded by nine of the initial fourteen defence towers, the fortress shelters beautiful medieval architecture and medieval legends, such as the one connected to Vlad the Impaler's birthplace.
Return to Cluj in the late afternoon.
