Full Day Tour Of Alexandria
Tour starts at the hotel where the tour guide meets the group. Take a taxi to the metro (this depends on where the hotel is located).
King Street metro takes us to Alexandria where we have a free shuttle at our disposal. The shuttle will take visitors along the King Street where one can discover beautiful boutiques and restaurants.
Visit The Masonic Temple which can be seen upon arrival. The statue of the first President, George Washington, is located in the main hall.
Proceed to Gadsby's Tavern where George Washington and Thomas Jefferson met on many occasions and is now a restaurant.
Visit The Torpedo Factory, close to the waterfront, where the first torpedoes were manufactured.
Once the tour is completed, visitors can take a boat ride from Alexandria to Mount Vernon.
