Sign up for an excursion to the historical Cape Coast city to learn about the past at the town's famous castle. Make your way through a thrilling canopy walkway to Kakum Rainforest that is home to forest elephants, bongo antelopes, and primates like the Diana monkey. End your tour with a visit to the beautiful Elmina Castle.
Itinerary

Cape Coast - Kakum Rainforest
Get picked up from your hotel or residence in Accra at 6 am by your Cape Coast tour guide and head to the Kakum rainforest first. This trip from Accra to Kakum will take approximately 3 and a half hours. (1 hour)
From the Rainforest, head to the Cape Coast Castle. (1 hour)
Have lunch at a beach resort near the castle; one hour will be allocated for this.
Proceed to Elmina Castle. This oldest European building south of Sahara was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea (1 hour)
From Elmina Castle, we will head back to Accra. Departure from Cape Coast back to Accra will be at 5 pm.
