Description
Visit a protected area spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, and explore its forests, wetlands and grasslands that are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Sight some spectacular birdlife and see Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. Then return to Guwahati and enjoy a tour of the culturally rich city.

Day 1: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park
Arrive at Guwahati or Jorhat airport and transfer to the hotel in Kaziranga National Park to check-in and relax.
Dinner & overnight at the resort.

Kaziranga National Park
Early in the morning, check out the hotel for an elephant safari from 5.30 AM to 6.30 AM in the western range of the national park with your Guwahati tour guide. The main attraction of this wildlife park includes One-horned Rhinoceros, tiger, wild buffalo, elephant, a variety of deer, python and a variety of migratory birds, among others.
Return for refreshment and then again proceed to the park for yet another round of wildlife safari.
Lunch, dinner & overnight at the resort.

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park - Guwahati
Set out for an early morning jungle safari (05:30 am to 06:30 am) to the national park for wildlife viewing.
Return to the resort for breakfast.
After breakfast, go for a jeep safari (either central or western range).
Return to the lodge for lunch.
Go for an afternoon drive to Guwahati.
Check-in at the resort. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Guwahati - Departure
Have breakfast at the hotel and go on a city tour of Guwahati, a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines.
Visit Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river.
Later, transfer to Guwahati airport to board flight onward destination.
