Meet your official San Cristobal tour guide and start from the city of Santo Domingo. In approximately 29 minutes, arrive at the historical and protected places of Cultural spaces of the New World.
Visit the colonial engine of Boca de Nigua, located 13 km to the west of Santo Domingo. It exhibits a mill and boiling room, as well as some historic Spanish colonial architecture.
Proceed to the Anthropological Center of Indigenous Cultures, an exotic exhibition that offers insight into the important work of indigenous-run cultural centres and museums.
Head towards the battle spot of the 'First Cry of Freedom' of the African slaves.
Move to the colonial mills of Nigua's mouth.
See the Ingenio by Diego Caballero, a set of structures and buildings that during colonial times were dedicated to the industrial manufacture of cane sugar using the power of water (hydraulic ingenuity). Marvel at the first hydraulic engine.
