Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

   • Meet and greet your Nepali tour leader/guide upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Transfer to the Hotel by private car. Enjoy a welcome drink and receive a short briefing about the tour in the hotel. 

   Stay overnight.

2. Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Expedition

   • Have a fulfilling breakfast and set out on a full-day sightseeing tour of heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley.

   • Drive to Swayambhunath Stupa which is very close to the centre of Kathmandu. This Temple is also known as Monkey Temple which is considered to be a self-made Stupa. Kathmandu Durbar Square: a huge museum, Living Goddess Kumari, number of temples and the medieval largest palace are the major attractions. All these monuments represent medieval, history, culture and architecture. 

   • Visit Boudhanath Stupa, the biggest stupa in Nepal and one of the bigger stupas in the world. You can basically experience Tibetan Buddhism, culture and way of life in the Boudhanath Area. You can also buy authentic Tibetan things.

3. Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot via Changunarayan

   • Have a refreshing breakfast and drive to Changunarayan Temple in a private car. 

   • Visit the oldest pagoda style temple which was listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. It was constructed in the 4th century. 

   • Walk to Telkot which takes about 2 hours. 

   • Drive to Nagarkot which takes about half an hour. Nagarkot is usually considered to be the best vantage point for viewing Langtang Range, Ganesh Himal, Ghaurisankar, Jugal Himal and other snow-capped High Himalayan peaks, as well as sunrise and sunset. Enjoy an unobstructed sunset view of the High Mountains.

   Overnight in hotel.

4. Day 4: Bhaktapur and Patan Excursion

   • Travel from Nagarkot to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur and Patan City in a private car. There is a viewing tower where you get good views of the High Himalayan Ranges. 

   • Witness a breathtaking sunrise view as well as a 360º view of the scenery from the Lookout Tower which is an hour walk from your hotel.

   • Follow your Nepali tour guide to other World Heritage Sites like Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. You can visit two other adjacent cities of Bhaktapur and Patan where you will be observing mediaeval architecture along with history and culture.  

   Overnight in hotel.

5. Day 5: Depature

   • Have a refreshing breakfast, depending on your schedule and transfer to International Airport for final departure.
