Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kigali - Ruhengeri

   • Arrival at Kigali International Airport (Must be on an early flight during daytime). 

   • Embark on a drive to Ruhengeri near volcanoes with your Tanzania tour guide. 

   • Drive amidst rolling hills with a great view of the valleys and beautiful plantations. 

   Dinner and overnight stay at The Garden Palace Hotel (Budget hotel). 

   Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

2. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

   • Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking at 8:00 am with a briefing from the Rwanda park officials. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc.

   • The guide will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours, but it’s well worth the effort. 

   • In the afternoon, get ready for a local community encounter, where you will visit the Iby’ Iwacu cultural center and get to know the real traditional history of Rwanda, Kingship, leadership, marriage, beer making, local herbs, to mention but a few. 

   Dinner and overnight stay at The Garden Palace Hotel (Budget hotel). 

   Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

3. Day 3: Musanze - Kigali

   • After an early morning relaxed breakfast, drive from volcanoes back to Kigali for a city tour, and see a beautiful view of the rolling hills.

   • The city tour will take you around the city centres of Kigali. Visit the Nyamirambo area, art craft shops, the local market and the Genocide memorial center before being transferred to Kigali Airport for your outbound flight.

   End of service Meal plan: Breakfast & Lunch.
