Description
Set foot in one of Tanzania’s most outstanding and exciting wilderness area, with unique wildlife species inhabiting this altitudinal range of forests. Mikumi National Park is known as the primate park and currently, there are 12 species of primate. The high density of endemic species, with some plants and animals, found nowhere else in the world make it a centre of endemism. The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is also treasured for the high level of biodiversity of plants and animals.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Mikumi National Park
Meet and greet your Tanzanian tour guide at the agreed-upon location, early in the morning and drive from Morogoro town to Mikumi National Park (about a 1.5-hour drive).
Go for a game drive from 8:30 am to 10:00 am and later, have a refreshing breakfast.
Continue for game drive until 1:30 pm, where you will take a break for lunch inside the park.
Head back for a game drive until 3:30 pm from where you will drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park. The park has a high density of endemic species, with some plants and animals found nowhere else in the world, making it the centre of endemism. You will stay overnight in the lodge or camp inside the park.

Day 2: Back to Morogoro
Have a delicious breakfast at 8:00 am and go hiking to Sanje Waterfall, which is about 170 m high. The tour will take 5 hours to reach and return.
Drive back to Mikumi restaurant for a refreshing lunch.
Head back to Morogoro Town. On the way, you will be driven to Maasai village for some traditional activities.
