Visit the Temple of Apollo in Pytho, drive through the stone villages of Arachova and pay tribute to the martyr in the village of Distomo. Explore the Delphi, Arachova and Distomo
- Pick-up from an agreed-upon location.
- Drive to Delphi, which is located under the 3000 ft tall mountain of Parnassos.
- Head to the Archaeological Museum of Delphi to see the archaeological site of Delphi and the site of the Temple of Apollo.
- Take a break for a coffee at Arachova.
- Enjoy the journey through the beautiful stone villages of Arachova, where you can stop to click some pictures and buy some souvenirs.
- Move to Distomo, a small village near Delphi where people were massacred by Waffen-SS troops of the 2nd company, I/7 battalion, 4th SS Polizei Panzergrenadier Division under the command of SS-Hauptsturmführer Fritz Lautenbach. They went door to door and massacred Greek civilians as part of "savage reprisals" for a partisan attack upon the unit's convoy. A total of 214 men, women, and children were killed on June 10th, 1994.
