Itinerary

1. Day 1: Catania and Taormina

   • Arrive at the airport in Catania.

   • After the check-in at the hotel, depart for Taormina and visit the city. In the 19th century, after Goethe celebrated its beauty by quoting it in his book "Viaggio in Italia", this city became an obligatory stop of the Grand Tour - the long journey in continental Europe undertaken by the young European aristocracy of the time to increase its culture. Today, it is one of the most popular destinations of international tourism, as evidenced by numerous travellers from all over the world.

   • Enjoy some free time for lunch.

   • Later, return to Catania, and there will be some free time for dinner.

2. Day 2: Etna and Syracuse

   • After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Etna.

   • Go on a walking tour of Mount Etna with a local Italian guide to discover ancient craters, recent and ancient lava flows, breathtaking views and unspoiled nature.

   • Taste typical local products. 

   • Have some free time to eat lunch.

   • Transfer to Syracuse and check-in at the hotel.

   • Set off on a guided tour to discover Ortygia with its Piazza Duomo, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, surrounded by magnificent baroque palaces. It is the heart of the civil and religious life of the ancient city of Syracuse and UNESCO heritage.

   • Enjoy some free time to have dinner.

3. Day 3: Syracuse and Noto

   • After breakfast at the hotel, indulge in a guided tour of the Greek Theater of Syracuse, which is great, solemn, intriguing, and scenographic. Entirely dug into the rock, it is one of the largest in the world.

   • Depart for Noto and visit the vineyards immersed in the area's scenic beauty. The owners of the winery chosen for you will guide you to discover the secrets of the preparation of a wine which is now appreciated by every market. There will also be a tasting of typical Sicilian delicacies and the tasting of different DOC wines of Nero d’Avola.

   • Embark on a guided tour of the capital of the Sicilian Baroque, Noto. With its majestic cathedral, characteristic streets and colours, Noto will leave an everlasting imprint on you.

   • Return to Syracuse and enjoy some free time for dinner.

4. Day 4: Villa Romana del Casale and shopping at Sicilia Outlet Village

   • After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Piazza Armerina.

   • Embark on a guided tour of the Villa Romana del Casale, where the superb remains of unique mosaics, the polychrome, and the floors of the late imperial age have determined the inclusion of the Villa Romana del Casale in the list of UNESCO sites.

   • Depart for Sicilia Outlet Village and have free time for lunch and shopping.

   • Transfer to Catania and eat Chinese or Thai dinner in an ethnic restaurant.

5. Day 5: Departure
