Explore the Gobustan museum & the famous mud volcanoes
- Get picked up from your place early in the morning and learn exciting stories about the city on your way.
- Arrive at the Gobustan National Park and tour the modern, state-of-the-art museum and marvel at the petroglyphs of Gobustan. This is going to be the oldest thing that you have ever seen in your life.
- Head for mud volcanoes, and en-route, see the 1st Century-old Roman inscription left there by the emperor of Domitianus army.
- Take an off-beat route and go to the mountains where you will reach the volcanoes. Once you are here, you’ll be surprised to see that this has a "lunar" landscape, and the volcanoes are icy.
- Explore the territory, take pictures and observe how bubbles of mud come out from the ground.
Head back to the city.
