Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to the hotel

   • Welcome to Egypt and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo. 

2. Day 2: The Pyramids of Giza & the Egyptian National Museum

   • Enjoy a guided visit to the famous Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. 
     • Whilst here, you can opt to enter one of the pyramids, subject to it being open.  
     • For a real Arabian experience, you can opt to hire a camel for a trot across the sands of Giza. 
   • After lunch and a little rest, embark on a guided tour of the famous Egyptian National Museum of Antiquities. In addition to admiring the priceless funerary treasures of King Tutankhamen, including his legendary solid gold death mask, the museum boasts an extensive collection of some 120,000 ancient Egyptian artefacts. You can also choose to visit the Royal Mummy Room during the visit, where 9 royal mummies from the new kingdom are on display. 

3. Day 3: Cairo

   • Option 1: Free day to explore Cairo.
   • Option 2: Further sightseeing with our Cairo City tour.  
   • Option 3: Visit the tomb-strewn Saqqara, home to Zhoser’s step pyramid. The step pyramid was constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect, in 2700 BC. It was the template for all future pyramid construction, including the Great Pyramids of Giza.

4. Day 4: Check Out & Transfer

   • Enjoy breakfast before checking out at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
