Day 1 - Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
- Have an early morning breakfast at 6:00 am and get picked up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam. Travel 300 km to Mikumi National Park, where you will arrive in time for lunch.
- After lunch, proceed with afternoon game drives in the park, home to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.
Have dinner and overnight at Tanapa Cottage/ Bastian Camp

Day 2 - Mikumi National Park to Dar Es Salaam
- Early morning after breakfast, go on a game drive in the park with your Mikumi safari guide; animals commonly found include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the popular centrepiece of Mikumi, draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti Plains.
- Stop for lunch at Kikoboga Camp. After lunch, do a game en route back to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive late evening and drop off at your hotel or airport.
