Day 1: Athens to Kalavryta via Mega Spileon Monastery
Get acquainted with your BMW rental motorbike at the tour company's office. After a short briefing of the tour & itinerary, take off on your BMWs. All destinations and points of interest will be uploaded to the GPS that comes with the motorcycle.
- Follow a scenic, coastal motorcycle route overlooking the Saronic Gulf. The tranquillity, the twisty bends will accompany your journey all the way before heading on the national highway.
- Visit the Mega Spilaio Monastery Kato Zachlorou, Kalavrita, built in 362 AD. A unique Orthodox Monastery that played a significant role against the Ottoman Rule. (Duration: 2 hours)
- Stop at Agia Lavra Monastery, Kalavrita. This Monastery on the outskirts of Kalavryta united all the Greek Leaders in 1821 and initiated the revolt against the Ottoman Rule. You will witness the revolution banner together with armour used at that period. (Duration: 1 hour)
- Stop at Kalavrita, Kalavrita, Achaea Region, West Greece. Witness the historic village town of Kalavryta. A wonderful village town built amphitheatrically on the foothills of Mount Mainalo. The wonderful square, the cafes and restaurants, the local architecture and the landscape will make your stay truly wonderful. (Duration: 6 hours)
- Stop at Odontotos rack railway Diakopto – Kalavrita, Diakopto. Experience one of the finest train routes in Greece by hopping on the Rack Railway train in Kalavryta. You will do a round trip and you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the Vouraikos Gorge. This railway was built in the 1800s to accommodate the movement of goods and services to the then town of Kalavryta. (Duration: 3 hours)

Day 2: Kalavryta to Athens via the Lakes Cave System and Stymfalia Lake
- Stop at Spileo Limnon, Kalavryta, Greece. A lovely cave system that will captivate you with its stalactites and stalagmites. Inside the tour, there is a good ministry based tour guide that will explain all the findings. (Duration: 2 hours)
- Pass by Stymfalia, Corinthia Region, Peloponnese. As you drive in beautiful mountainous terrain, you will view Stymfalia Lake. The sixth labour of Hercules took place with the extermination of the Stymfalian birds that infested the woods of Arcadia.
