Itinerary

Day 1: Addis - Fly Arbaminch
Transfer to the airport and fly to Arba Minch.
Meet your Ethiopian driver in Arba Minch and head to Chencha to visit the Dorze people, known for their weaving culture, reflected in their beautiful cotton clothes, fences and beehive-shaped bamboo huts.
Overnight: Paradise Lodge

Day 2: Drive to Jinka
Have an early breakfast and drive to Konso village (UNESCO site) to visit the Konso people and their terrace.
Drive further to Mago National Park and visit the Mursi tribe with the Ethiopian guide. They are renowned for the strange custom followed by their women who, on reaching maturity, have their lower lips slit and circular disks inserted.
Make an excursion to the interesting Ari village in the afternoon (if time permits) to experience their culture and way of life demonstrated by members of the village.

Day 3: Drive to Turmi
Drive to Turmi- the settlement of the Hamer tribe. If the day is Saturday, Tuesday or Thursday, visit the local tribal market along the path.
Visit Hamer village. The women of the Hamer are known particularly for their striking appearance, adorned with thick plaits of ochre-coloured hair hanging down in a heavy fringe, leather skirts decorated with cowries and a dozen or more copper bracelets fixed tightly around their arms. The men are noted for the initiation ceremony of Jumping over the Bulls. Catching this interesting ritual is entirely a matter of chance.

Day 4: Turmi (Murulle and Omorate)
Make an excursion trip in the morning to Murulle - the village of Karo people known for their body paintings, which they do before important ceremonies. The most striking thing about Karo people's symbolic and ornamental expressions is the painted body and face decorations.
Proceed to Omorate in the afternoon.
Cross the Omo River by boat to visit the Dasenech people, who are known for their body scarification.

Day 5: Drive to Arba Minch and Fly Back to Addis Ababa
Head to Arba Minch after breakfast to take the flight back to Addis Ababa.
Make your way to your place to reach Addis Ababa.
