6-Day Rangamati and Bandarban Tour with Kaptai Lake and Tribes

• Meet your Bangladeshi guide inside the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight at Dhaka (Hotel Civic Inn).

• Pick up at 5:30 am from your hotel and transfer to the airport.

• Fly to Chittagong at 7:15 am.

• Arrive in Chittagong at 8:10 am and drive to Rangamati (102 km, nearly 3 hours).

• Enjoy a boat ride on Kaptai Lake for the rest of the day, and visit a Buddhist temple before sunset.

• Visit some tribal handicraft markets in the evening.

Overnight at Rangamati (Parjatan Hotel).

• Drive to Bandarban in the morning (82 km, nearly 3.5 hours).

• Visit a small tribal museum en route.

• Visit the Golden Temple, Nilachal, and other popular tourist sites in Bandarban for the rest of the day.

Overnight at Bandarban (Hillside Resort).

• Visit villages of different tribes in the morning to see their lifestyle. Observe how they hand-make their own clothes and buy some if you like from small outlets directly run by the tribal people.

• Enjoy a boat ride on the beautiful Sangu River in the evening, which is the most naturally beautiful river in Bangladesh.

Overnight at Bandarban (Hillside Resort).

• Drive to the Chittagong Ship Breaking Yards (103 km, 4 hours).

• Visit the ship breaking activities by boat from the river for a couple of hours. This is a graveyard of giant commercial scrap vessels brought from all over the world and converted into pieces of steel.

• Visit shops selling scrap materials from those ships, an excellent place to collect souvenirs.

• Fly to Dhaka on a flight at 16:20.

• Arrive in Dhaka at around 17:15 and transfer to the hotel.

• According to your flight, transfer to the airport in the morning and say goodbye.
