Itinerary

1. Day 1: Pick up to Cemorolawang Village

   • Get picked up from Surabaya Airport/Malang city as per arrival time.  (Hotel pick up in city center also available with no additional charge)
   • Head to Cemorolawang village and stop in Madakaripura Waterfall (optional program).
   • Visit Madakaripura Waterfall with an additional local guide. Some simple trekking through dripping and watery gorges is required.
   • Explore the gorges of Madakaripura Waterfall and, afterwards, continue further to Cemorolawang village.
   • Check-in at Bromo Permai/Café Lava/Istana Petani (depending on availability) for rest and free time.

   Note: If the arrival time is a bit late, you will visit Madakaripura Waterfall the next day.

2. Day 2: Sunrise - Trek to Mt Bromo - Ijen

   • Wake up early to get picked up by a jeep at 03.00 am from the guesthouse.

   • Head to the sunrise point Penanjakan in a 4x4 jeep.

   • Enjoy sunrise and a beautiful view of the National Park 

   • Continue to explore Bromo crater, Bromo Pura, and the surrounding black sand desert area.

   • Go back to the guesthouse and prepare for breakfast. 

   • Around 10.00 am, check out and head to the Ijen area via Bondowoso (7 hours drive).

   • Have lunch and dinner on the way.

   • Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in at Ijen View / Palm Bondowoso Hotel and rest.

3. Day 3: Visiting Mt Ijen - Departure

   • Wake up early in the morning and check out from the hotel. 

   • Drive to Paltuding (the starting trek point is 1 hour from the hotel).

   • Meet the local guide at Paltuding point.

   • Proceed trekking for 2 hours up to the crater's top.

   • Explore the scene of Blue Fire along and sunrise with your Indonesian tour guide.

   • After sunrise, descend to the start of the trekking point.

   • Eat breakfast in Paltuding and get dropped off at Ketapang harbour. (The driver will help to buy a ferry ticket OR drive you back for 7 hours to Surabaya city)
