Depart from San Ignacio at 7:30 am with a two-hour drive to the splendorous Caracol with your Belizean tour guide. It was the largest metropolis in the Maya lowlands of ancient times and is located deep within the Chiquibul Forest Reserve in the Maya Mountains.
