Hardomilje Rural Exprience
Meet your tour guide at your accommodation in Split and take a 45-minute drive to Canon Cetina. Then, continue to your tour guide's village.
Arrive at the remote village of Hardomilje and experience the warmth of Croatian and Bosnian hospitality. Old Hardomilje is situated on the ancient Roman trading route from Narona to Salona and is known for its characteristic limestone houses. See how their way of life has changed little over the generations.
Go on a relaxing boat ride in the Trebižat River. See nature’s best from your traditional wooden boat and hear about the old customs while sipping on a drink. The pristine waters of the Trebizat River are home to brown trout and crabs, and during the summer months, you may go for a swim.
Enjoy a delicious local lunch. Eat organically grown food, homemade meat specialities and exquisite vegetarian food. Menus vary from traditional pies to the acclaimed iron dome Peka roast. All this food is complimented with rich side dishes, salads and homemade brandies and wines.
