Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cairo Arrival

   • Upon arrival at Cairo airport, transfer to the hotel.

   Night accommodation in Cairo.

2. Day 2: Cairo - Giza

   • Have breakfast and visit the site of the Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Kefren and Micerinos, along with The Sphinx of Giza.

   • In the afternoon, an optional excursion to Memphis, the Capital of the Ancient Empire and the Sakkara Necropolis.

   • Return to the hotel for a night stay.

3. Day 3: Luxor - Karnak

   • Have breakfast and transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. 

   • Upon arrival, transfer to the ship. 

   • In the afternoon, visit the Karnak Temple Complex, where more than 18,000 statues have been discovered that will give you a great insight into the rich history of a past civilization.

   • Visit the Luxor Temple where the 25 m high obelisk and the Ramses II statues are located.

   Spend the night aboard.

4. Day 4: Luxor / Esna

   • Cross the Nile towards the western shore to visit the valley of the kings, where the pharaohs, their wives and their princes are buried in tombs carved into the rock of the mountains (excluding the tomb of King Tutankhamon).

   • Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

   • Return to the ship and navigate to Esna and continue towards Edfu.

   Spend the night on board.

5. Day 5 : Esna - Edfu - Kom-Ombo

   • After breakfast, visit the temple of Edfu dedicated to the god Horus with a falcon head and is the best-preserved temple in Egypt.

   • Navigate to Kom Ombo.

   • Enjoy your dinner on board, followed by night in Kom Ombo.

6. Day 6: Kom-Ombo - Aswan

   • After breakfast, visit the temple dedicated to the Sobek gods with the head of a crocodile and the god Haroeris. 

   • See a Nilometer used by the ancient Egyptians to measure the level of the waters of the Nile River in the end.

   • Explore the museum of mummified crocodiles. 

   • Sail to Aswan and enjoy the beautiful views of the Nile riverbanks.

   • Arrive in Aswan for lunch onboard in the afternoon.

   • Proceed to the temple of Philae.

   • Return to the ship for dinner and night onboard.

7. Day 7: Aswan - Cairo

   • Have breakfast and you have the possibility of an optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel de Ramses II and his beloved, Nefertari.

   • Head on to the scheduled time departure by domestic flight to Cairo.

   • After arriving, transfer to hotel.

   Overnight stay in Cairo.

8. Day 8: Full day in Cairo

   • Have breakfast at the hotel.

   • Enjoy free time (you can take the optional full-day visit to Cairo with lunch).

   Spend the night in Cairo.

9. Day 9: Cairo Departure

   • Have breakfast and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back.
