Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

   • In the morning, depart with your Kenyan tour guide from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park. 
   • Drive through the Great Rift Valley to reach Lake Nakuru, often referred to as the pink lake due to its enormous numbers of Flamingos.
   • Have Lunch at a hotel followed by an afternoon game drive.

   Dinner and overnight at either Lanet Matfam Resort, Chester Hotel, or Golden Palace Hotel.

2. Day 2 - Masai Mara

   • Continue with your journey across acres of wheat and barley fields before reaching your next game viewing destination in the world-famous Masai Mara, which plays host to the dramatic wildebeest migration from July through October every year.

   • Arrive at the tented camp and have lunch at your leisure.

   • Embark on a thrilling evening game drive in one of the finest wildlife havens on earth.

   Dinner and overnight at either Lenchada Tourist Camp, Rhino Tourist camp or Mwangaza Mara Camp.

3. Day 3 - Masai Mara

   • After breakfast, spend the day exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives where we will have the opportunity of spotting the Big five, which includes the lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo.

   • Have a picnic lunch at the park or visit the nearby Masai village or go for an adventurous balloon ride ($450 per person).

   Have dinner and stay overnight at either Lenchada Tourist Camp, Rhino Tourist camp or Mwangaza Mara Camp.

4. Day 4 - Masai Mara

   • Go for a full day game drive through Masai Mara, during which you may see wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, and Thomson gazelle. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but can often be seen from a distance.

   Dinner and overnight stay at a campsite.

5. Day 5 - Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • Go for an early morning game drive to witness the lions in action. You might be able to catch the rare sight of a pack of wild lions engaged in a hunt. 

   • Leave Masai Mara for a transfer to Nairobi. You will be dropped at either your hotel or airport to connect with your homebound flight, depending on the arrangements and where the safari ended.
