A Day In Yangon
- Pick up from the hotel and begin your tour at the Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most important sacred monument.
- Next, you will visit the magnificent reclining Buddha, Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda.
- Take a walk to the picturesque centre of Yangon. Here, you will visit the Sule Pagoda (from outside), Mahabandoola Park, City Hall, and the High Court.
- Stop at a local tea shop to sample some of Myanmar's favourite snacks and the national drink, le-phet-yey, a strong black tea perfectly blended with evaporated and condensed milk.
- End this tour with a visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market (closed on Mondays and public holidays), Yangon’s largest open-air market. Here, vendors from across Myanmar sell antiques, handicrafts, jewellery, art, clothing, and more.
