The itinerary

Day 01

Transfer to Chobe National Park

Transfer from Victoria Falls to Kazungula Border (KAZA Uni-VISA recommended upon entry into Zimbabwe).
Go through border procedures for Zimbabwe and Botswana. Drive for 12km to the Campsite.
Start your adventure with a boat cruise on Chobe River, one of the highlights of the trip as you have the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles and scores of elephant and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Head back into the park on a customised 4x4 game for viewers for an afternoon game drive. This is the best time to see Chobe’s large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink.
Proceed to Camp shortly after sunset for drinks and dinner around the campfire and listen to the sounds around you as you slumber in your tent under the African sky.

Day 02

Chobe Safari Experience

Wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day).
After breakfast, head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or wild dogs as they are still active, and the chances of seeing them are good.
Return to Camp for a delicious lunch and an opportunity to read, rest or take a refreshing shower.
When the day starts to cool off, another afternoon game drive follows and good sightings are revisited, or areas as yet unexplored are visited with your Africa tour guide.
Return to Camp after sunset for a reflective fireside chat with your fellow campers. Dinner follows, as always accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night.

Day 03

Departure

On your final morning, enjoy another dawn, wake up, and after breakfast, proceed for a final game drive before heading back to the border. This last drive may even prove to be the best and will, along with the others, remain etched in your memory as a truly great African experience.
Go through border procedures and head back to Victoria Falls-Enjoy a 70km drive and be dropped off anywhere in Victoria Falls as per your next itinerary (accommodation and further transfers can be arranged at an extra cost).
