Embark on this tour of the amazing Mikumi National Park, which houses savannah with acacia, baobab, and animals such as zebras, impala, eland, and wildebeests, to name to few. Hike in the Udzungwa Mountains for stunning scenery and explore mesmerising waterfalls in the national park.

Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam- Mikumi National Park
- Pick up from Dar hotel, Airport or Port and drive to Mikumi National Park for an evening game drive.
- Enjoy dinner and overnight at Mikumi Hotel.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park - Udzungwa National Park
- Early in the morning, before breakfast, explore the wonders of Mikumi National Park, when the wildlife is active.
- After breakfast, drive to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park for hiking and arrive at the waterfalls with your Tanzania tour guide.
Dinner and overnight at Udzungwa Hotel.
Day 3: Udzungwa National Park - Dar es Salaam
- After breakfast, drive back to Dar for further options.

The largest ethnic groups include the Sukuma (over three million), and the Chagga, Haya, and Nyamwezi (over one million each). Despite the tremendous cultural and linguistic diversity among Tanzanians, ethnic groups are united by the use of a common language Swahili and a sense of national identity. The growing number of refugees (from neighbouring Rwanda, Burundi, and Uganda in particular) do not appear to have caused serious ethnic tensions, but they have become a serious strain on the economy and the local environment.
