Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Florence.
Check out Ponte Vecchio, a medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River.
Visit Palazzo della Signoria, the town hall of Florence, Italy. It overlooks Piazza della Signoria, which holds a copy of Michelangelo's David statue and the statues gallery in the adjacent Loggia dei Lanzi.
Walk around Piazza della Repubblica, a city square in Florence, Italy. It was originally the city's forum, then the site of its old ghetto, which was swept away during the improvement works, or Risanamento, initiated during the brief period when Florence was the capital of a reunited Italy - work that also created the city's avenues and boulevards.
Visit the Florence Cathedral, formally the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. It was begun in 1296 in the Gothic style to a design by Arnolfo di Cambio and was structurally completed by 1436, with the dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi. Marvel at Brunelleschi's architectural masterpiece of the dome.
