Description
Join this tour in the Peruvian Basin of the Amazon. Learn survival skills from the locals, go boating & fishing, do some forest camp time, hike through the forest and swim around the water bodies. Sail to the mighty Amazon River to the rivers Marañon and Ucayali and get a chance to swim with Pink Dolphins, learn about the properties of various medicinal plants, and witness anacondas, caimons and monkeys.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Iquitos
Travel up the Mighty Amazon River to the rivers Marañon and Ucayali -the origin of the Amazon River from Iquitos.
Take a detour into the small tributary in the Yarapa River to arrive at our destination. This breathtaking journey is approximately 120 km.
Learn jungle survival techniques from the locals.
Discover the art of local crafts taught by the local people.
Share learning experiences and mingle with the local people.

Day 2: Fishing & Boating
Explore, camp out in the forest, watch pink dolphins, thousands of birds, butterflies, caiman, monkeys, macaws, parrots, toucans, herons, and many more. Canoe up small streams looking for wildlife, hike in the forest, learn from the local people, harmonize with nature.
Explore jet-black water streams to find caiman, anacondas and several kinds of monkeys that make appearances during our excursions such as Squirrel monkeys, Marmosets, Tamarinds, Black Saki monkeys, and the smallest primate in the world: the Pigmy Marmoset. If we are lucky, we can sometimes glimpse the endangered Red Huakari Monkey.
Boat to view rare birds such as Horned Screamers, Herons and Hawks.

Day 4: Bird Watching & Hiking
Bird-watch early in the morning to see parrots, toucans, macaws, and hundred of other colourful species.
Get a chance to swim with freshwater river Pink Dolphins.
Hike through the forest with a nature guide who will teach you the medicinal properties and uses of jungle plants.

Day 4: Camp Day
Canoe up small streams and lakes.
Take all-day/night boat excursions to view diurnal and nocturnal wildlife.
Explore and camp out in the forest.
