Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport to Negombo

   • Be welcomed by our tour representative.

   • Transfer to Negombo.

   • Learn about the different lifestyles of Sri Lankan people on your way.

   • Relax at the hotel or go to the beach and feel some fresh air.

   Overnight stay at Negombo.

2. Day 2: Negombo sightseeing

   • Enjoy a delicious breakfast.
   • Visit the fine beaches that are superbly maintained by the hotels.
   • Try adventure sports. Equipment for water sports such as diving, windsurfing, and fishing is available at most hotels and private vendors.
   • Marvel at Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, Muthurajawela Marsh, and Marine Life 

   Overnight stay at Negombo.

3. Day 3: Negambo to Dambulla/Sigiriya

   • Have a yummy breakfast in the hotel at Negombo and be taken to Dambulla.
   • Visit the famous Dambulla Rock Temple, a renowned World Heritage Site.
   • Marvel at the Iron Wood Forest, and Rose Quartz Mountain

   Overnight stay at  Sigiriya.

4. Day 4: Dambulla/Sigiriya sightseeing

   • Eat a delicious breakfast at the hotel. 
   • Climb Sigiriya rock fortress is a world heritage site, constructed by King Kashyapa in the 5th century. A moat, rampart and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock.
   • Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a protected pocket of the rock approached by a curved stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster. 

   Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

5. Day 5: Dambulla/Sigiriya to Kandy

   • Enjoy a delicious breakfast hotel in Dambulla or Sigiriya. 
   • Proceed to Kandy, the previous capital of the Sri Lankan kings and a World Heritage Site.
   • Visit the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center, a gem museum, Kandy Lake, and a lapidary
   • Witness a cultural show.

6. Day 6: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

   • Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Kandy and transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Fall. 
   • En-route visit a tea factory/plantation and some beautiful waterfalls. This town seems like a piece of English district. Tudor-style and Victorian homes look across the blue lake. 
   • Marvel at architectural monuments including the Post Office, the English country house like Hill Club with its hunting pictures, mounted hunting trophies and fish, Anglican Church and private residence. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia. 
   • Walk through Nuwara Eliya in the evening.

7. Day 7: Nuwara Eliya to Kataragama

   • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. 
   • Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Kataragama. 
   • Visit Kataragama Hindu Temple, a Hindu and Buddhist temple complex dedicated to Skanda-Murukan also known as Kataragamadevio.

   Dinner and Overnight stay at Kataragama. 

8. Day 8: Kataragama sightseeing

   • Explore the Yala National Park.
   • Head towards Kirinda Beach is a popular beach venue for thousands of devotees who go on pilgrimage to Katharagama.

9. Day 9: Kataragama sightseeing

   • Eat breakfast at a Hotel in Kataragama. 
   • Enjoy the whole day at Kirinda.

10. Day 10: Kataragama to Unawatuna

    • Enjoy a yummy breakfast at the hotel in Kataragama.
    • Continue to Unawatuna, a popular tourist destination and a breeding ground for turtles.
    • Try snorkeling and swimming, bird watching or explore coral reefs. 
    • Have fun in the beachside bars and restaurants that are in abundance.

11. Day 11: Unawatuna sightseeing

    • Eat breakfast at the hotel in Unawatuna. 
    • Enjoy yourself in Unawatuna with your Srilanka tour guide. There is a reef protecting the beach, which makes it safe for bathing. The serene soundings and the Dutch architecture add to the charm of the place.
    • Unwind yourself sitting on the beach sand, gazing at the spectacular vistas of the sea blending with the multi-hued skies.

12. Day 12: Unawatuna to Hikkaduwa

    • Proceed to Hikkaduwa after breakfast.
    • Marvel at the stunning coral reef and white sandy beaches. 
    • Try water sports and related activities like snorkeling, diving, and more. The glass-bottom boats are a popular attraction for the spectacular view of the coral reefs that they provide.
    • Experience the Coral Sanctuary, a magnificent reef bursting with life.

13. Day 13: Hikkaduwa highlights

    • Enjoy a yummy breakfast at a hotel in Hikkaduwa.
    • Relax the whole day at leisure.
    • Visit white sandy beaches, glass-bottom boats travel, turtle Farm, Madu River, and do water sports if you want.

14. Day 14: Hikkaduwa to Beruwala

    • Have breakfast at the hotel in Hikkaduwa and proceed to Beruwala.
    • Do waterskiing, banana boating, fishing, and jet skiing. These fun activities offer excitement for all ages and any skill level.

15. Day 15: Beruwala sightseeing

16. Day 16: Beruwala to Colombo

    • Eat your breakfast at the hotel in Beruwala and leave for Colombo.
    • Marvel at architectural wonders like tall skyscrapers, the the100-year-old clock tower and several colonial buildings during the British Period.
    • Visit the Pettah bazaar and shop for a bargain.
    • Explore the city; visit a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the rich, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China.

    Overnight stay at Colombo.

17. Day 17: Departure

    • Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel in Colombo. 
    • Transfer from Colombo to Airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
