Description
Embark on this 5-day Indonesian hike of the magnificent Mt. Bromo and Mt. Semeru. See a gorgeous sunrise over King Kong Hill, explore the Ranu Regulo Lake, and learn to farm with the locals. Take in the stunning views from the summit of Mahameru after trekking through lush green Indonesian trails and explore the colourful village of Malang.
Itinerary

Day 1- Bromo Moutain
See a spectacular sunrise from the King Kong hill.
After that, we walk towards the Bromo crater and then head for the whispering sand and savanna or the Teletubbies Hill.
After stopping at Bromo, we will continue the journey to Ranu Pani village and stay at the community house there.

Day 2- Ranu Pani Village
On the second day, we will follow the community to a farm together. This is where we learn to farm with the local community.
After going to the fields, we proceed by visiting the Ranu Regulo Lake.
In the afternoon, we will cook the vegetables from the fields to cook together with firewood.

Day 3- Semeru Mountain
On the third day, we will head to the Semeru mountain climbing base camp.
Then our journey continues towards Lake Ranu Kumbolo and to the last post, which is Kalimati. Here, we set up camp and rest.
After that, at 00:00 (midnight), we continue the journey towards the summit of Mahameru.

Day 4- Semeru Mountain
At 08.00, we go back to Kalimati and rest.
At 13:00, we continue our journey again to Ranu Pani village.

Day 5- Malang
At 8:00, we go back to the city of Malang in a jeep.
When we arrive at Malang, we immediately explore the colourful village.
