Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival

   • Our driver will pick you up on your arrival at the airport, where you will drive to Arusha town and get dropped off at the lodge booked for your overnight stay.

   Destination: Kilimanjaro airport/Arusha

   Accommodation: Jobugg Palace Hotel Safari Lodge 

   Meals: BB 

   Start point: Kilimanjaro International Airport, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

   •  Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will drive to the Tarangire National Park in a Land cruiser, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the parks registration book. 

   • Proceed for a full day game drive in the park and enjoy viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000 foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily as they will regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You will meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.

   • Later this afternoon, you will arrive at your amazing lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your overnight.

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

   • Having an early breakfast before you take your way to the Serengeti’s endless plains for the afternoon to sunset game drives in the park. You will make your way around the southern edge of the crater rim, spotting the occasional hyena, elephant or African buffalo along the way.

   • By late morning, you will arrive at the famed Serengeti National Park. The plains seem endless from this vantage point. Stop to enjoy your picnic lunch at Naabi Hill before meandering through the wildlife-rich central Serengeti.

   • Later in the evening at your camp, you will be able to settle into your accommodation before joining other travelers in the dining area for some palate teasers in anticipation of a scrumptious meal this evening. Afterwards, gather around the campfire before heading off to bed. Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.

   Destination: Tarangire area/Serengeti N.park 

   Accommodation: Green Hill Tented Camp 

   Meals: B,L,D

4. Day 4: Central Serengeti/North Serengeti

   • After an early breakfast at 5:40 am, you will drive out for a sunrise game drive on your way to the Lobo area for a full-day migration tour. On this day, you will search for the wildebeest migration in the northern Serengeti National Park. This will start from sunrise to sunset game drive in the endless plain of Serengeti National Park. Sunrise game drives start at 6:00 a.m.

   • In the evening, you will drive to the camp for dinner and overnight. We expect them to be around the northern Serengeti Lobo and Mara River area.

   Destination: Central Serengeti/North Serengeti 

   Accommodation: Machochwe camp 

   Meals: B,L,D

5. Day 5: Full Day in Northern Serengeti Area

   • After breakfast, you will drive out for a full-day wildebeest migration game drive in the Northern Serengeti area. 

   • Later in the afternoon, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight. 

   Destination: Full day in the Northern Serengeti area 

   Accommodation: Machochwe Camp 

   Meals: B,L,D

6. Day 6: Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast, you will drive out for a half-day game drive in the Central Serengeti area. This starts from sunrise to late morning when you will break for lunch.

   • After lunch, you will have a game en route on your way to Ngorongoro Crater Rim for dinner and an overnight stay. 

    Destination: Central Serengeti/Ngorongoro crater rim

    Accommodation: Ngorongoro Green Hill Lodge Lodge 

   Meals: B,L,D

7. Day 7: Departure

   • Rise early for breakfast before exploring the crater floor for half a day. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in scale, so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth.
