Uluguru Mountains & Lupanga Peak
- Meet the tour guide at an agreed-upon location in Morogoro and start the tour.
- Go hiking to the top of the peak of the Uluguru Mountains. The climb will take you through farmlands, into the forest along the ridge top, and finally up a steep slope to the top of the peak.
- Take some rest at Jiwe La Duma (1,797 meters above sea level).
- Hike 540 meters more to see the Lupanga peak.
- Witness birds like Uluguru Bush-shrike Flycatcher, Love ridge sunbirds and Livingstone Turaco.
- See mammals such as Blue monkey (Cercopithecus mitis), Black and white colobus (Colobus guereza) and plants like Begonia, fern trees.
- Head back to the hotel/accommodation at the end of the tour.
