Koran Resort - Sebangau National Park Highlights
Depart from the city of Palangka Raya at 08:00 am towards the south that leads to Kereng Bangkirai village which is the entrance gate to the Sebangau National Park.
After registration, travel through the Sebangau river in a small boat to Koran Resort. This boat has no roof because it passes a small river. There are many things that can be observed throughout the boat journey, namely, growing anthropis, wooden trees, medicinal plants, insects and wildlife. If you are lucky to find them, take care of your steps so that you don't fall into peat soil.
The journey continues towards the base camp of Koran Resort.
Rest and enjoy lunch after your arrival at the base camp. Activities that can be done later are, bird watching, swimming or enjoying the natural atmosphere of Sebangau.
At noon, the journey along the Sebangau river goes upstream. Take a round trip to see the peat swamp forest vegetation.
In the afternoon, after finishing the activities at the camp, return to the Kereng Bangkirai village.
Then, proceed to the guest house at Palangka Raya.
