Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tirana-Shkoder

   • Leave early in the morning by 5:00 am. The transport will be in a minivan from Tirana to the Komani ferry stop, (4x4 car depending on guest request on extra charge).

   • During the transfer to the Komani ferry, there will be a stop usually at a coffee shop or any nice Bar with lake views on the way to Komani.

   • During the ferry trip, you can enjoy the view of the lake, of the rocky slopes, of the reflections of nature on the water; all amazing views to remember. On the ferry, you can enjoy a drink or a coffee at the Bar or your lunch box.

   • After two hours of ferry trip, we will reach the stop of Fierza. Here, there will be another minivan waiting to bring you towards the Valbona valley. Drop off at the Guesthouse door.

   Duration: 4 hours

   Pass by: Valbona Valley, Kukes County 

   Lunch will be around 13:00 and dinner at around 19:30 at the guesthouse. Free time in the afternoon to have a walk around the valley before dinner time.

2. Day 2: Valbone Vally and Thethi National Park

   • Start hiking toward Thethi valley after an early breakfast for around 6-7 hours. During this hike, we will go through Rragam village to see the gulf of Valbona at 1750 mt.

   • Proceed then to the Thethi National Park area between the woods and pastures. Usually, it takes about 3 hours up and 3 hours down.

   • Rest and/or grab some refreshments at the highest point where there is a wood cabin used as a ‘Bar’. 

   • Proceed towards the down valley for the other three hours and get accommodated in the guesthouse in the late afternoon.

   Duration: 6 hours

   Pass by: Theth, Shkoder County

   Meals included:

   Breakfast.

   Lunch: Lunch box prepared from the hotel in advance.

   Dinner at 19.30 hrs: Fixed menu with traditional dishes. For special requests, please write to us after your booking.

   Accommodation included: Guesthouse.

3. Day 3: Theth National Park, Shkoder City and Tirana.

   • After breakfast in the guesthouse, the day will start with a walk in the valley to the church and to the shutting tower. At the tower, an English guide will tell the story of the place.

   • Return to the guesthouse at 12:00 and be ready for the minivan for pick up to Shkodra.

   • Check out for the room after breakfast before going for a walk.

   Meals included:

   Breakfast, No accommodation included on this day.

   • The tour can end in Shkodra or at the starting point in Tirana. Travel time from Thethi to Shkodra is 2.5 hours and an additional 1.5 hours to Tirana.
